At some point, maybe in the 90s, tattoo went from being taboo to mainstream. Tattoos are symbols of individual expression and sometimes these expressions of individuality say, “I cannot spell”. Other times they are just odd. Tattoos are no longer for deviant teens or biker dudes. Tattoos are for everyone: middle class women, doctors, celebrities, whoever is brave enough to withstand a bit of pain in exchange for this lifelong commitment.
